Mr. Mammadov started his career in 1994 as a Commercial Director of “Avista” company, which is involved in publishing and distribution business. In 1997, after graduation from the legal faculty of Baku State University and earning a postgraduate diploma in Oil Supply and Trading from the College of Petroleum Studies in Oxford, UK, Mr. Mammadov joined Caspian Drilling Company (CDC) as a Corporate Attorney being responsible for government liaisons and providing analysis and counsel on legal and environmental issues. From 1998 till Aug 2007 Mr. Mammadov had been working for Milio International Limited, an independent commodity trading company as Business Development Manager followed by promotion to Regional Director position. In Milio, Mr. Mammadov was in charge of operations of the company in the Caspian and Black Sea regions, crude oil and oil products transportation and trading. With a wealth of knowledge in law and the energy industry, Mr. Mammadov is currently with Carbonexis in charge of the origination, and implementation side of the company, assessing and developing business opportunities globally. Mr. Mammadov is fluent in Azeri, Turkish, English and Russian languages. He is a member of Young Presidents Organisation since 2005. |
